Ofsted (May 2018) says 'The behaviour of pupils is outstanding'. Children adhere to the codes of conduct expected in school and staff provide excellent role models. We are also delighted to have been awarded 'All Together' Gold for the second time in a row by the Anti-Bullying Association.

To encourage a sense of order in school, good discipline is expected. Children know what is and what is not expected of them. Expectations are discussed in assemblies and PSHE sessions. Self discipline is the ultimate goal. Ofsted ( May 2018) says 'The school environment is very calm and well-organised'.

Expectations are clearly set out in our Behaviour and Discipline Policy ( see our 'policies' page) Ofsted (May 2018) says the school 'provides a very positive and productive learning atmosphere'.

The School Management Team has the right to remove a child in extreme circumstances ( read the Exclusion Policy on our policies page)

The school operates an 'Open Door' policy and staff are always on hand to help.

Parents and visitors are always welcome but, for a more 'in depth' discussion, it is advisable to make an appointment first.

There are regular termly Open Evenings for parents to discuss children's progress and a detailed annual written report for children from Reception to Year 6.
