The school has a very supportive Parents Association, led by chairperson Mrs Karen King. The P.A. organises events throughout the year and helps to provide school with extra curricular items and resources. As well as a Christmas Fayre, held each year in the Village Hall, the annual Family Fun Day is very popular and well-attended. The Parents Association also provide refreshments at the Christmas performances and provide a Christmas Party Lunch for our children at the end of the Autumn Term.

The main aim of the Parents' Association is to raise additional funds to benefit all children by subsidising transport costs to the Nature Reserve, Christmas Parties etc. They also fund resources for school, such as additional laptops for children and outdoor play equipment as well as subsidising sporting opportunities such as out trips to Nocton leisure Centre.

Please help the P.A. by joining them for as many social functions as you are able to and by donating items for various raffles, tombolas etc. Extra help at events is always welcome along with feedback and ideas/suggestions for future events. If you would be interested in joining the Parents' Association, please see Mrs Miles.

 Fundraising and Events

This year, our Parents Association has worked tirelessly to put on some fantastic events for children and parents to enjoy. At the same time they have raised money to support activities for the children in school. Joining the Parents' Association and attending their functions provides an excellent opportunity to get to know other parents and to find out more about the school.

During the Autumn Term the Parents' Association are looking forward to organising another 'Winter Family Party'.

Last year, families enjoyed the opportunity to dress up and socialise together, at an event that was suitable for all the family (and not entirely Christmas focused!). The disco catered for children's party games, as well as dancing for all the family. A 'sit down' two course meal was also enjoyed by all, with options for vegetarian diners available.

We are looking to develop and improve this event further this year.

Our Summer Fashion Show  ( a super evening out for the ladies!) and Family Fun Day (blessed with beautiful weather) were also extremely well-attended this year and helped to raise ample funds for the Parents' Association.

Future events :

Sunday 2nd December - Christmas Fayre in the Village Hall

Thursday 6th/Friday 7th December - Christmas Performances in school

Further dates for next year's calendar to be confirmed in September

The Parents' Association provide hospitality and refreshments at our Christmas performances and also provide the catering and support for our Christmas parties for both the Foundation Stage and the Upper School.

If any parents are interested in joining, please see Mrs Miles for further information.

The Parents' Association raise money to help with transport costs for trips to the Nature Reserve and other school activities.

Our Parents' Association have discovered a new easy way to name children's clothes and to raise money for the school.

If you order one of Stamptastic's name printing stamps, which are suitable for a variety of uses, including school uniform, the school will receive 'cashback'.
